2. Opuntia Banana

2.1 Materials

Standard Recipe: Makes approximately 1 case of bottles or 1.5 cases of vials

Dry Mixture:

Agar: 39 g
Yeast: 165 g
Methylparaben: 12 g

Wet Mixture:

Blended bananas: 825 g
Karo syrup: 285 g
Malt: 180 g
Powered opuntia cactus: 12.75 g
(Makes approximately 6 cases of narrow glass or narrow plastic vials, or 3 cases of glass bottles)
Cooking on stove top

2.2 Directions

    1. Boil the water vigorously for 10 minutes
    2. Add the dry ingredients and reduce the heater to 5.5 power
    3. (Wisk thoroughly for 10 minutes)
    4. Add wet ingredients and 11 grams of Opuntia Powder
    5. (Wisk thoroughly for 10 minutes)
    6. Remove the cooked food from the heater
    7. Let the food cool until its temperature is between 100°F and 110°F
